Januar 2021 wird die neue SCIP-Datenbank - die Datenbank f\u00fcr besorgniserregende Stoffe in Erzeugnissen als solche oder in komplexen Gegenst\u00e4nden (Produkte) - in Kraft treten. Die im Rahmen der Abfallrahmenrichtlinie (WRRL) eingerichtete Datenbank verpflichtet Unternehmen, die Erzeugnisse mit besonders besorgniserregenden Stoffen (SVHC) der Kandidatenliste in einer Konzentration von mehr als 0,1% Gewichtsprozent (w\/w) auf dem EU-Markt anbieten, Informationen \u00fcber diese Erzeugnisse an die Europ\u00e4ische Chemikalienagentur (ECHA) zu \u00fcbermitteln.<br \/><br \/><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #7c7c7c;\">Auch Unternehmen in den Bereichen Haushaltswaren und Spielzeug m\u00fcssen auf diese neue Richtlinie reagieren, wenn ihre Artikel oder Verpackungen eine h\u00f6here als die zul\u00e4ssige Konzentration enthalten. Bei Produkten, bei denen das Risiko einer solchen Konzentration geringer ist, handelt es sich h\u00f6chstwahrscheinlich um solche aus anorganischen Materialien wie Metall oder Glas. Bei Konsumg\u00fctern aus Kunststoff, Gummi oder mit einem hohen Anteil an Tinte, Farbe oder Klebstoff besteht dagegen ein h\u00f6heres Risiko. Das Spektrum der Produkte, die betroffen sein k\u00f6nnen, ist breit gef\u00e4chert und reicht von Spielzeug oder aufblasbaren Artikeln bis hin zu Gep\u00e4ckst\u00fccken, Gartenm\u00f6beln und anderen Haushaltswaren.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p>In dieser Datenbank werden Informationen \u00fcber besorgniserregende Stoffe gesammelt, um die Entstehung von Abf\u00e4llen, die gef\u00e4hrliche Stoffe enthalten, zu verringern und die Substitution zu f\u00f6rdern. Sie wird auch zu einer sichereren Kreislaufwirtschaft beitragen, indem sie den Abfallentsorgern mehr Informationen \u00fcber die gef\u00e4hrlichen Stoffe in den von ihnen verarbeiteten Abf\u00e4llen zur Verf\u00fcgung stellt, die Abfallsortierung erleichtert und die Qualit\u00e4t der recycelten Materialien durch eine bessere Sichtbarkeit der Chemikalien verbessert.
